About
Joseph Quintana is a Director, Actor, and Musician hailing from the farthest point of West Texas and currently based in Georgia. In his early career Joseph worked in opera; singing with Austin Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, and El Paso Opera. With a passion for devised and ensemble-based theatre, Joseph has devised work for El Paso Opera, GenEnCo., Hard Women, and Ghost Light Collective in Austin, TX. At the Alliance Theatre, Joseph is part of the Kathy and Ken Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young program performing in Oodles of Doodles, Dinosaur, and Gimme Please with performances at the Alliance Theatre, Lincoln Center Theater, and Brooklyn Academy of Music. Recent credits include assisting Director Matt Torney on the 2024 Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition winner, Business Ideas by Milo Cramer, serving as Director for Timon of Athens with Scranton Shakespeare Festival, and joining The Playhouse at White Lake in presenting Michael Frayn’s raucous and laugh out loud comedy Noises Off!
